Marice H. DePasquale, Principal

Ms. DePasquale brings a diverse background of public affairs, media relations and political campaigns to the many roles she undertakes on behalf of her clients.  She is sought after as one of the top public affairs and campaign professionals in California with experience spanning all aspects of public relations, government and community relations, media relations and grassroots lobbying.

Ms. DePasquale’s projects have stretched California – working with community groups, elected officials and a wide variety of local, state and federal agencies.  She has a successful and proven track record providing direction, management and strategic counsel on complex projects for a broad range of clients, including the development community, communications, energy, oil and natural resources, agriculture, business, water, tourism, education…to name only a few.

An often sought after speaker, Ms. DePasquale is an expert at translating highly technical information and language into messages that resonate with the public.  With extensive experience in navigating government agencies, elected officials and both the public and private sector – Ms. DePasquale has successfully led her clients and project teams to victory.  Additionally, her credibility spans both sides of the aisle and she is seen as a top facilitator and bridge builder between groups that are often at odds.

Ms. DePasquale has successfully defeated a number of ballot box planning and so called “traffic/no growth” measures in recent years.  Including one effort where a coalition of business, residents, agriculture and labor was formed – this coalition is still looked to today as an example of diverse interests coalescing for a common cause to successfully achieve their goals.

Ms. DePasquale holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis in voting and elections from the University of California, Irvine.  She is a Director at Mesa Water District in Costa Mesa, which provides safe, reliable and local water to residents and business. Additionally, she is on the Dean’s Leadership Council for the School of Social Sciences at UCI and an active alumna.  With service close to her heart, for over ten years she has been a board member of Seneca Family of Agencies (a non-profit adoption agency dedicated to the creation, preservation and support of foster care, adoptive and relative care families for children who need them).  Ms. DePasquale is a 5th Generation Native Californian and with her husband calls Costa Mesa home.
